Kyrie / Opalescence
2007
For three female voices and electronics. A Kyrie without a Mass around it — the plea kept and the liturgy set aside.
Performed at ISCM World New Music Days in 2014, where the composer and critic William Anderson wrote about being unexpectedly undone by it.
Earlier titled Opalescence, under which name it was published on the International Computer Music Conference CD in Copenhagen and broadcast on Concertzender’s Radio Monalisa.

Reviews
Her powerful Kyrie made me fight to maintain my composure. I lost it when I started seeing images, in my mind, of Alfons Mucha’s Slav Epic behind the singers. I had never heard great new Polish music in Poland before, and I was deeply moved by that experience. — William Anderson
