A new work for Chornobyl 40

A new multichannel audio work made for CHORNOBYL40, a European project marking forty years since the disaster and asking what we choose to remember.

Inspiration for this project begins from childhood memory — the iodine solution handed out across Poland in 1986, and the distance between official reassurance and what people actually experienced.

Developed during a research residency in 2026. Selected works will be produced and shown in a touring exhibition in Madrid, Berlin, Toulouse and Kyiv in 2027.
