Saga of Sage 2

Mission 2: Heroes is an immersive VR performance where music, storytelling, and interactivity collide. This isn’t just theater—it’s an experience where the audience becomes part of the story, shaping the narrative in real-time. Set in a fractured digital world, Mission 2: Heroes follows Sage, an AI grappling with the weight of human history. As an audience member, you’ll step into a virtual landscape where your choices influence the outcome.  

Will you guide Sage toward wisdom, chaos, or something in between? The music and sound design play a crucial role in this journey, shifting between moments of tension, wonder, and unpredictability. Using a mix of electronic textures, spatialized sound, and live elements, the score moves with the story—sometimes leading, sometimes reacting, and always keeping you on your toes.

Composed for the immersive world of The Saga of Sage 2, the soundtrack unfolds as a space for contemplation—fusing voice, electronics, and spatial resonance to echo themes of heroism and perspective. Composed by Kasia Głowicka in collaboration with director Robin Coops and av-developer Avinash Changa, the music is shaped alongside dramaturgical insight from Isabel van Hauwe and visual concepts by ZandyXR. Mission 2: Heroes—is a story where Hercules’s actions are seen both as justice and aggression, depending on one’s position in the interactive environment. The score creates breathing room for listeners to inhabit that tension, to feel connection across distance, and to reflect on choice and consequence.
