Opera for The Unknown Woman is a multi-media science fiction opera that combines together forms of theatre, sound art, contemporary classical and choral music, choreography and film.
The opera imagines the unwritten future for women to come, dreamed by a collective of women who are and have been. Using feminist science fiction as an allegorical frame, its vision entwines the imperilled future of Earth’s environment together with a journey towards of female power and stewardship.
