On June 26th Opera Vlaanderen and Ballet Vlaanderen will premiere Roxana’s Song – the newest, freshest collaboration of The Airport Society with Krystian Lada,  in the scope of their online commission project ##imaginationisalive or #verbleedingsleeft.

Kasia embraced this challenge and has set the original, orchestral work of Karol Szymanowski (1882- 1937) to the pandemic proof version – a trio, with voice, oboe and flute, played in this recording by fantastic musicians of Antwerp Flemish National Opera and Ballet: Melanie Rosken, Arie van der Beek and Dagmara Dobrowolska. This poetic miniature was created with the intention that it will help our dear audience with the nostalgic longing of the human-nature connection. Several media outlets published favourable reviews, among others: Orfeo.com.pl and “Ruch Muzyczny“.

"What makes the music of Kasia Głowicka special? First of all space. Deep and extensive (…) Seasoned composer – the clear intentions and the feeling for ‘big form’."
