Each of the compositions is a different look at the piano tradition: Hilda Paredes from Mexico uses elements of traditional music, Julia Purgina's "Intermezzi" from Austria refers to the classical tradition, while Katarzyna Głowicka, a Pole, performs a sonic deconstruction of the piano.
