The standard repertoire of classical song recitals for female singers consists of such pieces as Schumann's "Frauenliebeund Leben"or Shoenberg's" Das Buch der Hängede Gärten, Op. 15. The musical language and the thematics of the works are reflecting the realities of the times. The female voice is expressing her emotions in a way that is envisioned from one perspective. How differently would emotions, topics and lyrics be reflected in the form of modern recital song? I would like to take on

“Seven Sonnets” reviewed in progressive music magazine “Lizard” from Poland with 8/10. "the most beautiful is the culmination of the disc with minimalist, hardening at a moment in time thanks to the electronic effects of the strings" Lizard is the only Polish magazine devoted to the broader progressive music. Authors are looking for and describe everything in the music fresh, interesting and creative, both in the past and in the present.
Premiere of Audio DH project
Conceived and directed by Francisco López audio-DH is a collaborative project of epic proportions that weaves the sounds of 250 of The Hague’s creative minds into an exploration of the city’s vibrant sonic tapestry. With the help of fellow composer Barbara Ellison and the artist platformiii, 50 curators were invited to rally the city’s creative community, gathering contributions from composers, experimental musicians, sound artists, noise makers etc.. in the broadest and most inclusive definition of contemporary sonic creativity. Favola at Tivolivredenburg
Laura Sandee from "Insomnio" Ensemble preformed "Favola" in Utrecht at beautiful "Herz" hall of TivoliVredenburg. Performance was part of the conference International Computer Music Conference which this year was hosted by Utrecht and organised together with "Gaudeamus Foundation" from Holland. INSOMNIO, an ensemble for contemporary music, was founded in 1997. Through the years the ensemble grew out into a group of 17 musicians with an international orientation. In recent years, the strong love of the musicians for contemporary music, their sheer boundless energy and their enthusiasm has resulted in well-received projects both within the Netherlands and abroad.

Cd "Seven Sonnets" has been recorded with Rubens Quartet and contratenore Arnon Zlotnik.

Music theatre piece of Melanie Wilson co-composed with Glowicka has been on "The Guardian's" pick of the week. Melanie Wilson reimagines the operatic form in Opera for the Unknown Woman at the Lawrence Batley, Huddersfield, as part of the Yorkshire festival, which also has lots of street theatre over the next few days.
